Short characteristics of the site: Metamorphic units of Bohemian Moldanubicum. Stream canyon with its rocky walls. Wild relief with outcrops of muscovite-biotite orthogneiss (so called Bechyně Orthogneiss). Protected relic vegetation on rocky slopes with some important floral and animal species.
